Tutorial Mahara 1.0 - My Blogs

In the submenue of "My Portfolio" you can find "My Blogs". Here you can create different blogs.

New Blog
To create a new blog click "Add Blog".
Start a Blog
To start a blog you have to complete a form. Choose a title for the blog and ad a description, that describes the content of your blog. In the field "Tags" Im Feld "Tags" you should find some catchowrds, that link to your blog.
The new blog can be found in the overview-page "My Blogs". To edit the blog or to add a new post, click on the title.
Add post
- selct the blog in "My blogs" (clik on the title)
- click on "Add Post"
- complete the form (add title, write your entry and choose tags for this post. You can edit your text with the rich text editor
- "Save post"
You can save your post as a draft. If your post is a draft, no one except you can see it.
Add files
You have the opportunity to attach files to your entry.
- Click the button "Browse my files" and look for the file on your hard drive
- Ad description and tags.
- Important: You have to agree to the copyright notice. You confirm that you do not breach any local Copyright legislation by using this files.
- Upload the file and save the post.
View your Blog
After you have saved your entry you can find it in your blog (My Blogs). To edit a entry choose the blog and click "Edit".
To publish your blog you have to activate it in "My Views"
