Activity Preferences
It is a differentiated notification about several happenings and activities on the Mahara surface. You can choose the constitution of notification by your own.

General Preferences
Notification via
• Email
After a new happening you get an email.
• Email digest
You get an email about the happenings of the last 24 hours. Nevertheless, happeningmails will be listed in your notification inbox and they will be marked as “read”.
• Activity log
In your notification inbox appears a log about the received messages.
System message
Message from other users
You get an email, if some of the other users have sent you a message
Feedback
You get an email about any feedback to your items or your views of your portfolio. Annotations to your blog will be shown as feedback, too.
Watchlist
You get an email about any activities of views, items or groups you are watching.
New view access
You get an email about the authorization of access for watching the views of an other user. A public available view keeps unconsidered.
Institution message
You get an email, if an institution has sent you a message.
New forum post
You get an email, if somebody posts a new article into a forum of your groups.
You confirm your choice with "save".
